About the venue

The Gothic cathedral in Sedlec, the oldest part of Kutná Hora, ranks among the most important medieval buildings in Bohemia. Originally a Cistercian abbey church from the 14th century, it was rebuilt in Baroque-Gothic style by Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel after 1700. Since 1995 it has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the Kutná Hora historic centre.
