Chapel and Almshouse of St. Anne

Vyškov

About the venue

The Renaissance Chapel of St. Anne, built in the first half of the 16th century, stands on Dukelská street and originally lay outside the town walls. Its interior preserves fragments of wall paintings dated 1584, depicting saints. The adjoining former almshouse has a late Renaissance portal with classical motifs. The complex is a listed cultural monument managed by the Muzeum Vyškovska, and the chapel now serves as an exhibition space.
