About the venue

Imaginárium is a travelling, site-specific exhibition by the visual artists and set designers of Divadlo bratří Formanů, founded by brothers Matěj and Petr Forman. Visitors walk through a labyrinth of theatrical sets, puppets, mechanical toys, peephole boxes and photographs drawn from the theatre's productions. Each installation is shaped by a diverse group of artists and adapts freshly to its host space. The project has been touring Czech towns and abroad - including Germany, Italy, Denmark and France - for over ten years.
