Imaginárium by the Forman Brothers Theatre is an extensive interactive exhibition that comes alive from May 10 to June 30, 2026 on Prague's Štvanice Island beneath the HolKa bridge. The installation is housed in a large mobile pavilion originally built by French circus masters for the Forman Brothers Theatre for the production Deadtown. The exhibition combines theatrical props, puppets, hybrid performances, mechanical games, art objects, and activities for visitors of all ages. This year, Czech audiences will see for the first time objects created for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, where Imaginárium became part of the accompanying programme. The installation continues the legacy of Prague's largest Imaginárium cycle exhibition, which took place in 2021 at the Holešovice Market Hall. The exhibition includes an accompanying programme featuring art workshops and a chamber theatre for 80 spectators. Visitors can touch the exhibits, walk through them, and become part of the entire story. From June 4 to 25, 2026, Imaginárium will merge with the ARENA Festival of the Forman Brothers Theatre, transforming Štvanice Island into a circus and theatre village with performances, new circus acts, and a live festival programme under the open sky.
