Nineties Night at Svojanov Castle
A dance evening celebrating 90s hits with DJs, stylish décor, and a light show. Dressing in 90s style is encouraged.
Svojanov Castle is one of the oldest royal castles in Bohemia, founded around 1265 by King Ottokar II to protect the Trstěnice trade route between Bohemia and Moravia. The castle is notable for its unique combination of Gothic, Renaissance and Empire architectural styles and is known as the "villa of Czech queens." Visitors can explore historical exhibitions, the Gothic cellar with a torture chamber, the House of Squires, and climb the 26-metre-high watchtower. Since 1910 it has been owned by the town of Polička and since 1964 it has been a protected cultural monument.
