About the venue

Helfštýn is one of the largest castle complexes in the Czech Republic, rising above the Bečva river valley near Lipník nad Bečvou. The Gothic fortress dates to the 14th century and was later remodelled in Renaissance style. It is best known as the home of Hefaiston, widely regarded as the biggest artistic blacksmithing festival in Europe.
