Josefov is a remarkably well-preserved baroque fortress built in the 18th century, now forming part of the town of Jaroměř. Its underground network stretches over 45 km, originally designed for military defence and troop movement. Guided tours take visitors through the casemates and tunnels beneath the fortified streets above.
