About the venue

Divoká soutěska (Wild Gorge) is a deep sandstone canyon carved by the Kamenice river in Bohemian Switzerland National Park, connecting to the Edmund Gorge at Mezní můstek. The rock walls rise up to 150 metres above the water, and the key 450-metre stretch can only be visited by flat-bottomed boat with a ferryman. Count Edmund Clary-Aldringen had the gorge made accessible - with walkways, tunnels and weirs - and it opened to the public in 1898. It is considered one of the best-preserved sections of the entire national park.
