About the venue
Divadlo na Vinohradech is the largest specialist drama theatre in the Czech Republic and a flagship stage of the capital Prague. Its Art Nouveau building on Náměstí Míru was constructed in 1905–1907 to a design by architect Alois Čenský and inaugurated on 24 November 1907. The resident ensemble performs classic and modern Czech and world drama on the Main Stage and the smaller Studio Stage.
