Divadlo Broadway occupies the basement of the functionalist Palác Broadway, built in 1936-1938 and connecting Na Příkopě and Celetná streets. The space was originally a cinema; after it closed in 1998, it was fully reconstructed and reopened in February 2002 with the premiere of the musical Cleopatra. The main auditorium seats over 590 and the stage has two revolves. The theatre focuses on original Czech musicals, with some drama productions alongside.
