About the venue

Divadélko JoNáš is a chamber stage with 80 seats in the basement of the Měšťanská beseda building in Plzeň, where Divadlo Dialog used to perform. It opened on 1 October 2002 after the building's renovation, with actor Jiří Suchý as its godfather. The programme covers chamber theatre productions, concerts, themed evenings, and Sunday fairy-tale shows for children from age three. There is a bar near the entrance where audiences can sit during the interval.
