About the venue

The Renaissance château in Strážnice dates to the 16th century and today houses the National Institute of Folk Culture. It hosts exhibitions, conferences and cultural events throughout the year - most notably the Strážnice International Folklore Festival, one of the oldest folk festivals in Europe.
