About the venue

Česká televize is the Czech public broadcaster, based at the Kavčí hory complex in Prague 4 and established by law on 1 January 1992. It operates the channels ČT1, ČT2, ČT24 and ČT sport, alongside the online catch-up service iVysílání. The campus has been built up in stages since the 1960s; the final phase was completed in 1996 with a neofunctionalist building by architect Václav Aulický, nicknamed "the bread roll" by staff. Visitors can explore the site on a pre-booked guided tour or drop into the ČT Gallery, which hosts themed exhibitions throughout the year.
