About the venue
Božkovský ostrov is an outdoor sports and leisure park in the Božkov district of Plzeň, naturally formed by the Úslava river and a former mill race. The area has been developed by the Plzeň 2 - Slovany municipal district since 2009 and includes an inline skating track, a cycle path, walking trails with outdoor exercise equipment, a sports pitch and a gym. A popular feature is the natural water channel with children's water play elements, which also serves as flood protection. Entry is free; the park is accessible from Poříční street and via a footbridge from K Jezu street.
