About the venue

Bouzov Castle was founded at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries in the Litovel and Mohelnice countryside. From 1696 it belonged to the Teutonic Order; since 1945 it has been state property, and in 1999 it was listed as a national cultural monument. Its current romantic silhouette - battlements, oriels, loopholes and gargoyles - is the result of a reconstruction between 1895 and 1910 designed by architect Georg von Hauberrisser. It ranks among the ten most visited castles in Czechia and is a popular filming location.
