About the venue

Bitva Mrač is an annual medieval festival held at the historic Mrač fortified manor near Benešov. The day's programme includes a procession through the village, a sword-fighting tournament, two narrated battles - one Hussite and one from the Thirty Years' War - and a period market with craftspeople. The evening closes with a fire show and a concert. The festival has run since 2017; the 2026 edition is the ninth.
