About the venue

The Aula Arnošta z Pardubic is the largest hall at the University of Pardubice and the main venue for academic ceremonies such as graduations and formal assemblies. The building has been part of the university campus since 1999 and is connected to the University Library. It took its name in 2004 from Arnošt of Pardubice, the first Archbishop of Prague and patron of the city. Alongside the main hall, the building houses additional classrooms and social spaces, and also hosts cultural events of wider civic importance.
