About the venue

The natural amphitheatre in the castle park at Loučeň serves as an open-air stage for theatre performances and concerts. The park, laid out as an English landscape garden from 1828, also contains the unique Labyrintárium with 12 mazes. The amphitheatre comes to life during castle festivals and other events held in the grounds of the baroque Thurn-Taxis château.
