Martin Filippi: Word Play

A full-length stand-up comedy show by Martin Filippi.

Audience members will hear a stream of wordplay and jokes about relationships, family, health, the Czech language, and baldness. The word "girlfriend" will likely appear in nearly every other sentence - even though by then she'll be his wife, and Martin probably won't manage to remember that. Not that he forgot he got married, but what he's supposed to call her now.

The show runs 90 minutes and features both new and tried-and-tested material. Viewers are expected to have a basic knowledge of Czech - foreigners and Gen Z risk entering at their own peril of boredom. The word "jářku" will make an appearance; profanity is kept to a minimum.
