Sloth | Slať

Two Brno-based doom and sludge bands take the stage at Klub Alterna.

Sloth brings together Kryštof Pochylý (PissedChris), Alex Al Zouri (GxUxTxS, Hadí Mord), Tom Svoboda (ex-Señor Sanchez), and Marek Heczka (Janet A, Finding Blue Desert). After the lifting of COVID restrictions in 2022, the band quickly established itself on the Czech stoner/doom scene with their EP Sloth, followed by their debut album Slothmachine in 2026, released under Kabinet Records.

Slať builds on deep sludge and stoner riffs, heavy tempos, and black metal darkness. The band emerged in 2021 as a successor to Nikander and released their long-awaited debut LP Elegie Propastná in 2024 under Doomentia Records. At Alterna, Slať will present new material with a new lineup.
