Laura a její tygři - In ! Ventura | 1986-2026

The band Laura a její tygři was founded by Karel Šůcha at the end of 1985 in the Neprakta club in Most, inspired by William Saroyan's novella Tracy's Tiger. The girl's name Laura evokes tenderness and beauty, while tigers symbolize wildness and untamed spirit - the band's distinctive image is completed by black sunglasses, white shirts, black ties, and black trousers.

Over four decades, the band has performed more than two and a half thousand concerts at home and abroad. After the fall of the Iron Curtain, they performed primarily on European stages - in Stuttgart, Munich, Paris, Lausanne, Kiel, Bremen, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, Marseille, Valencia, Toulouse, Nantes, Albi, Tarbes, Brussels, Lyon, Dijon, Antwerp, and Strasbourg. They also performed in the ancient amphitheatres of Carthage, Monastir, and Hammamet, and at EXPO 2010 in Shanghai. In 1993, they won the French Grand Prix Media RFI award, and their concert at Paris's La Cigalle was broadcast live by MCM.

The band has prepared five major concert projects: Tracy's Show, Ritual of a Central European from the End of the 20th Century in the French town of Agen, Ritual at Žižkov, Laura versus Křižík Fountain, and Big Bang!. At special concerts celebrating the band's 40th birthday, they will be joined by former members - Ilona Csáková, Lenka Nová, Martin Pošta, Miloš Vacík, and Bohumil Vitásek.
