Hetty Kate Quartet performs at Jazz Dock in Prague on Wednesday, 16 September 2026 at 21:00. The British-Australian vocalist returns to the riverside club in Smichov with guitarist David Dorůžka, double bassist Tomáš Baroš, and American drummer Jesse Simpson. Jazz Dock, opened in 2009, is a design-focused jazz club hosting regular concerts of jazz, funk, soul, and blues. This is one of two Czech dates on Hetty Kate's tour. The venue sits on Janáčkovo nábřeží, across from Dětský ostrov.

About the venue: Jazz Dock

Jazz Dock is a design jazz club opened in 2009 on the banks of the Vltava river in Prague's Smíchov district, opposite Children's Island. It regularly hosts concerts of jazz, funk, soul, blues and world music, as well as its own festivals. The interior was designed by architects Ivan Sládek and Jaroslav Ourecký; a rooftop terrace is open in summer. The venue also includes a bar and restaurant.

Jesse Simpson is an American jazz drummer from California, a former student of Donald "Duck" Bailey who graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in New York. He has shared the stage with John Abercrombie, Chris Cheek and other New York jazz figures. Since 2022 he has been based in the Czech Republic, performing mainly across Europe.
