Gott: A Czechoslovak Story

Music critic Pavel Klusak presents Karel Gott without legend or cliché - as a singer, a social phenomenon, and a mirror of several generations. The lecture will be accompanied by music, archival footage, and other materials.

Klusak's book of the same name does more than chronicle Gott's life; it places him within the cultural and political history of Czechoslovakia. In 2022, it won the Magnesia Litera award for journalism and was named Book of the Year.
