The Naked Stage Workshop

The Naked Stage is a long-form improvisation format that creates a fully realized multi-act play (typically two or three acts) with the intensity and structure of a written chamber drama.

Participants will learn the principles needed to perform improvised theatre focused on relationships between characters, unspoken tensions, and the small details that occupy real people. The workshop emphasizes stagecraft, character work, and environment building. It includes silences, seemingly aimless tangents, and jokes that only amuse the teller - all serving as building blocks for stories that are serious, usually funny, and always absurd.

One hour is reserved for lunch during the day.
