10 Reasons Why Circularity Makes Sense — Kampus Hybernská, Prague
Description was written before the event

The average four-member Czech household throws away food worth over 14,000 CZK annually. Vinted users saved 21.6 billion euros last year by not buying new clothes. And the circular economy could create up to 150,000 new jobs in Czechia. Michaela Kloudová, director of INCIEN, has selected ten reasons why you might look at your shopping habits, work, and the city you live in a little differently.

Speaker: Michaela Kloudová (INCIEN)

Michaela has led INCIEN since 2024 and brings experience from both business and the startup world to the circular economy. She founded the startup Genster, which she grew to an annual turnover of around one million euros and a 35-person team before it was halted by covid - she considers this her toughest leadership lesson. She was also instrumental in launching No Neke, the first circular shop, and previously worked as a media manager at Unilever.

The lecture is part of the Festival Dokola, taking place on 10-11 September 2026 at Kampus Hybernská with support from the City of Prague and organized by the Institute for Circular Economy (INCIEN).
