From the Pump to the Attic
A special guided tour of the exterior and interior of the Letná Water Tower.
Today the tower is almost hidden by surrounding buildings - from Letná Plain you can only see the roof peeking over a massive residential block called Molochov. It reveals itself in full splendor only from the intersection of Milady Horákové and Korunovační streets.
Your guide will take you through the history of the tower and the fates of its inhabitants. Along the way you'll stop at the historic pump, learn what the abbreviation OP means in the relief on the facade, and explore the interiors including the attic spaces - where beams pierced during World War II remain to this day. You'll also discover how large the water tank housed in the tower was and enjoy views across Prague.
