Keychain from Cuffs - Upcycling Workshop for Complete Beginners with Vedu

Transform old shirt cuffs into a practical keychain with a pocket while learning the basics of machine sewing. This workshop is designed for complete beginners - no prior experience needed. The keychain is perfect for storing small items: dog waste bags, lipstick, plasters, or loose change. Materials will be provided on site.

The workshop is led by Veronika Dušková (@vedu_clothing), who has been sewing since 2019 and has been sharing her tips on social media for the past four years. She began studying sewing formally in 2022.

Before the workshop, there will be an open studio session with Vedu - bring any clothing that needs repair or alteration.

The workshop is part of the Dokola Festival, taking place on 10-11 September 2026 at Kampus Hybernská. The festival is organized by the Institute for Circular Economy (INCIEN) with support from the City of Prague.
