Fallen Olymp
"When man becomes a god, everything will be permitted." - F. M. Dostoevsky
"All roads lead back to Antiquity."
Audience members are invited to the table of the most traditional family of all: Mount Olympus, the pantheon of Greek legends. A heavenly spa resort, a boarding house for deities who have lost their reason for existence. Sweet and bitter boredom alternate with existential crises and desperate cries. Time passes, and the Graiae slowly approach the threads of fate - for even the gods face an end. What becomes of a deity who has lost its followers? What of a god who has lost meaning?
"Fallen Olymp" is a project that has been developing since the ensemble's earliest days on stage. It is a collective performance on the border between theatre and installation, where individual members of the rich Greek pantheon can be encountered within arm's reach. The project is presented by Pinkbus Platform.
