Jan Spálený & ASPM

Singer and pianist Jan Spálený is one of the founding figures of Czech blues. As a multi-instrumentalist, he studied violin, dixieland, rock and roll, and rhythm & blues in his youth, played trombone, tuba, baritone saxophone, and at fifty-six began learning the cornet. With his brother Petr, he founded the bands Hipp's and Apollobeat, and has performed as a guest in pop ensembles and classical music.

With the group ASPM, he will perform his songs in the lineup: Jan Spálený – vocals, piano; Radek Krampl – vibraphone; Jakub Doležal – saxophone; Filip Spálený – bass, tuba; Filip Jeníček – drums.
