The exhibition moves between nostalgia, gaming fantasy tropes, pop-culture references, and surreal imagination. Nachmanovitch explores the rhetoric of high fantasy and its overlaps with masculine political imagination, while Žufníček develops a visual language at the intersection of DIY psychedelia and contemporary folk mysticism.

About the venue: Holešovická Šachta

Holešovická Šachta gallery opened in spring 2017 in a former stable between Bubenská and Na Šachtě streets in Prague 7. After renovation it offers three exhibition spaces totalling over 350 m² and a spacious courtyard used for concerts and outdoor seating. The programme focuses on emerging Czech and international artists - since 2023 the gallery has paired two artists per show. Beyond visual art, the venue hosts theatre, author readings, lectures, workshops and film screenings. Admission to exhibitions is free.
