Guided Tour: Wolfgang Beltracchi Divine Stories

Wolfgang Beltracchi, a contemporary painter and former art forger of international renown, presents his current work for the first time in Prague at the Municipal House. The exhibition "Divine Stories" features more than 90 original paintings and sculptures from 2010-2026.

Beltracchi deliberately builds on the legacy of the Old Masters, which he has studied extensively and - as is well known from his controversial past - masterfully imitated. In this exhibition, however, he steps out of the role of imitator and presents his own interpretations, in which historical references intertwine with contemporary art.
