Santini in Prague

A guided walk through Prague Unknown will take you to places connected with the youth and apprenticeship years of Jan Blažej Santini Aichel. Participants will learn about buildings designed by his teacher Jean Baptiste Mathey on the Hradčany district and walk along Nerudova Street, the centre of Santini's Prague work. The programme includes two palaces, the Church of the Capuchins, and the Valcounský House - which Santini purchased, renovated, and where he spent the rest of his life. The walk will also visit the site of a former cemetery where he was buried and showcase selected works by his contemporaries among architects, sculptors, and painters.

- Meeting point: Pohořelec tram stop near the statue of Tycho Brahe and Johannes Kepler
- Duration: 1.5-2 hours
- End point: Pražské Jezulátko tram stop

- Children under 12 free. Tickets cannot be purchased on site.
- The terrain is suitable for prams and wheelchairs.
- Cancellation: up to 24 hours before the start, you can reschedule your ticket to another date or send a substitute who will register under your name.
