Open House Praha 2026
Prague
free entry
Open House Praha 2026 is the 12th edition of a traditional architecture festival that opens the city free of charge to all residents. The festival runs from May 18 to 24, 2026. The main event – opening more than 100 normally inaccessible buildings and spaces throughout Prague – takes place on the weekend of May 23 and 24. Most buildings are open from 10 to 18 hours, with tours running continuously throughout the day. No advance registration or admission fee is required for weekend building tours. From May 18, there is a rich accompanying programme: debates, lectures, guided walks, and exhibitions. Some accompanying events require advance booking or ticket purchase. This year's highlights include two historic estates in Stodůlky – Háje farmstead and Saukup estate. The festival marks the 100th anniversary of the Great Strahov Stadium and the 150th anniversary of architect František Roith's birth. The festival information centre is located at Hybernská Campus (Hybernská 998/4, Prague 1). The festival is accessible to people with hearing or visual impairments and to foreigners living in Prague – part of the programme is in English, occasionally also in German or Russian. Tickets for accompanying events can be purchased through the Open House Praha mobile app (Android and iOS).
