Open House Prague 2026
The Open House Prague festival opens more than 100 buildings and spaces across the city to the public. The accompanying programme with lectures and guided tours runs all week, with the main weekend on May 23–24.
František Roith (1876–1942) was a Czech architect based in Prague during the first half of the 20th century. A pupil of Jan Kotěra, he worked in a classicising modernist style and is best known for designing the Municipal Library of Prague on Mariánské náměstí, completed in 1928.
