Pardubice Spring Music 2026

The international Pardubice Spring Music festival enters its 48th edition in 2026. The festival runs from April 13 to May 30, 2026, and offers a total of seventeen concerts with a strong focus on chamber music repertoire. The opening evening is dedicated to Baroque music – the Italian ensemble Accademia Bizantina Orchestra (founded 1983 in Ravenna) with violinist Alessandro Tampieri will perform Vivaldi's Four Seasons on period instruments in the Suk Hall of the House of Music in Pardubice. Other highlights include: a chamber evening with Adam Skoumal in the Gočár Gallery in the Automatic Mills (April 16), Oboe in the Synagogue with Vojtěch Podroužek in Heřmanův Městec (April 21), Berlin Philharmonic bassoonist Václav Vonášek in the Knights' Halls of Pardubice Castle (April 23), a jubilee concert by mezzo-soprano Dagmar Pecková (April 28), the Zemlinsky Quartet at Pardubice Town Hall (May 5), violin virtuoso Václav Hudeček in Lázně Bohdaneč (May 21), and a new Festival for Children project. Concerts take place in Pardubice and surrounding locations in the region – Heřmanův Městec, Lázně Bohdaneč, Přelouč, Seč, Vysoké Mýto, Kladruby nad Labem, Kojice, and Sezimice. Pardubice concerts begin at 19:00, concerts outside Pardubice at 18:00. The organizer is the Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic with support from the Czech Ministry of Culture, the Pardubice Region, and the City of Pardubice.
