Echo Ljubimovky — Festival of Russian-Language Drama

Echo Ljubimovky is a touring festival by the independent association Ljubimovka, dedicated to contemporary Russian-language drama. The Ljubimovka festival was founded in 1990 as a platform for free artistic expression and new dramaturgy; since February 2022, it has launched the initiative "Dramaturgija protiv vojny" (Drama Against War). Under the name Echo Ljubimovky, the festival takes place in various cities around the world — in Georgia, Israel, Germany, France, Norway, the USA, and other countries. In Prague, the festival is being held for the third time. The programme consists of four staged readings of plays from the Ljubimovka shortlist, followed by discussions with playwrights, directors, and actors. Admission is by voluntary donation.
