About the venue: Cross Club

Cross Club is a multi-genre cultural club in Prague's Holešovice district, founded in 2002. The three-floor venue includes a café, restaurant, several bars, two indoor stages, a theatre and an outdoor area. Both the interior and exterior are styled in steampunk aesthetics with sculptures made from scrap metal. The music programme focuses on non-mainstream genres; in 2014 the club was named one of Europe's 25 best venues by The Guardian.

Vienna drummer and producer Sixtus Preiss sits at the crossroads of jazz, electronics and funk-inflected beats, releasing on Affine Records since 2011. Away from the studio he crafts his own microphones and amplifiers, and regularly teaches at the Jazzseminar Schönbach.
