Rezonance #3

A continuous festival of experimental music, sound art and technology at Linserka. One evening, four distinct approaches - from raw improvisation through sonified poetry and guitar textures to layered ambient landscapes.

INTERPRETACE (CZ) - live experimental noise improvisation
A Liberec-based project active since the late 1970s and early 1980s, one of the longest-running acts on the Czech experimental scene. Recordings emerged from free improvisation with guitars, tape and radio, isolated from the Prague industrial scene; according to Richard Charvát, it was a ritualistic escape from the reality of that era. Liberec is also home to a story that now reads almost like part of their poetics: in 1990, a concert by British band Bourbonese Qualk was announced at the Plastimat club, but they failed to show up, and local musicians had to step in at the last minute - the trio NBCH was born for that single evening. Their latest recording is the album 345 (2026).

INTIMNÍ PLAYLIST (CZ) - live experimental electronica
A duo of Michal Prasličky and Pavel Malý working with electronics as a space for text, silence and slow unfolding. For Czech Radio Vltava they recorded original music for a programme based on a posthumously published collection of poems by Tomáš Tomáš, read in full by Jan Vlasák (Souzvuk, premiere 13 April 2026). From the same world comes the album Ahava (2026) - Hebrew for "love", music of nature lyrics and slowed perception.

JAN JANECKÝ (CZ) - live ambient electronica
A Liberec-based musician working at the intersection of ambient and downtempo, emphasizing texture and surface over rhythm. Also known from the project Lavender Mist, where his electronics meet the guitar walls of Michal Staněk and echo the sound of the 1990s. Listen: janjanecky.bandcamp.com

RAPOON (UK) - live experimental ambient
A project by British musician and visual artist Robin Storey, founded in 1992 after his departure from the group Zoviet France. Over nearly thirty years he has released more than eighty albums, combining ambient and industrial sound, loops, muted rhythms, acoustic fragments.
