The name Michelin evokes different things for everyone - quality French tyres, the rotund mascot from the company logo, or a Michelin-starred restaurant. But the creators of this production discovered a different story: the story of a prisoner in a concentration camp in Holýšov near Domažlice, Marie-Marguerite Michelin.

"We are not presenting a reconstruction. We are interested in a unique female voice, the contrast between elegance and the depths of human nature, the personal experience of the boundary between life and death, the sense of meaninglessness and hopelessness. We search for traces of hope that truly never dies. We offer echoes of personal testimony, we long to sing a poem."
