Odyssey

Odysseus (Matt Damon) was king of the Greek island of Ithaca who, according to legend and Homer's poetry, invented the famous Trojan Horse - the trick that decided Troy's fall and ended the city's exhausting siege. After the battles end, he wants only one thing: to return home to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland).

But his bold deeds have angered the gods, who decide to make his return as difficult as possible. This is why the word "odyssey" became a synonym for a journey full of obstacles that lead the wanderer away from his goal instead of bringing him closer.

While Odysseus resists the gods, giants, and the seductive sorceress Circe, his wife Penelope at home faces men who want to seize her and the entire kingdom of Ithaca.
