Viktor Ori + Scheissburg

Viktor Ori "A Better World Is Possible, But Nobody Needs It" is a prominent name on the Slovak alternative scene. For over a decade he performed as singer and guitarist of the band Shallov, which gradually evolved into this hybrid solo project - the debut album features numerous guest musicians. The concert lineup is a duo of Viktor Ori and drummer Antonín Kropáček, with regular guest appearances at shows. The sound ranges from punk and shoegaze through screamo, trip-hop and industrial to metal and pop, all unified by a distinctive artistic voice. Viktor's lyrics emerge from a humanistic stance within postmodern dystopia - they are personal, existential, raw, yet also political and provocative.
