Svitava in Transformation: From Forgotten River to Living Space

The Svitava River was historically closely tied to industry, and its surroundings still feature numerous brownfields - yet this is also an area with great potential for development. The walk will follow the Svitava and show how this part of Brno is transforming, how individual projects are progressing, and what is planned here. You will stop at both places that are already coming to life and those awaiting their transformation.

The walk lasts approximately 2 hours. It takes place on 20 September 2026 in two time slots - at 12:00 and 15:00. Meeting point: in front of Sokolovny Husovice, Dukelská třída 9, Brno.
