Shrek

Shrek, a green ogre with tusks, lives peacefully alone in his cottage in the forest until he is suddenly overrun by countless fairy-tale characters banished from the kingdom by the vain and bitter Lord Farquaad. To restore order and reclaim his home, Shrek promises Farquaad that he will rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona from the clutches of a fearsome dragon and bring her to be his bride. With the help of a clever donkey who is willing to do anything for Shrek except stay quiet for a moment, the ogre fulfills his promise. But then things take an unexpected turn, becoming tangled and complicated in ways that lead to a completely different outcome than anyone expected.
