Cukrkandl

Anička Jesenská inherits a house with a greenhouse and dental surgery in the small town of Medov. Her mother died following a procedure performed by a village blacksmith who posed as the local dental expert, so Anička, a trained physician, wants to help children above all.

But no one comes to her. The inherited villa has a reputation as a haunted house in town, and locals are afraid to approach it - they say water from hell flows from the spring there. The situation changes when Anička discovers, thanks to an exotic Peruvian plant from the greenhouse, that dental procedures don't have to hurt, and the surgery suddenly fills with patients.

This doesn't sit well with the other dentist in town, Dr. Druml. An unequal struggle begins, and Anička soon gets help from a group of local children.
