A workshop dedicated to traditional crafts of the Šumava region. Visitors can try their hand at woodworking and learn the techniques of local craftspeople.

The Horažďovice Town Museum has been housed in the town's castle since 1946 - a originally Gothic stronghold later rebuilt with Renaissance and Baroque elements. Permanent exhibitions cover folk culture, mineralogy and the Prácheň marionettes; the great hall with 17th-century frescoes and the castle chapel are open on guided tours. The castle is also known as a filming location for the Czech film Kladivo na čarodějnice (Witchhammer). The complex includes a town gallery, a tourist information centre and an interactive workshop of traditional Šumava crafts.
