Secrets of Prague's Streets and Alleys - Old Town

A walk through the Old Town focuses on details that the average passerby overlooks. The route leads from Charles Bridge along Charles Street and its passages to St. Agnes Square and further past the Church of St. Giles to National Avenue.

Guide Sonya Prochazkova will explain along the way the history of Judith Bridge, what mystical secrets Charles IV hid on the Old Town Bridge Tower, whether Prague had a Templar commandery, where the first technical university was located, what land records are, which saints the Dominicans venerate, and where another Jewish cemetery lies hidden in the city centre. The walk lasts 2 hours.

Meeting point is at the statue of Charles IV on Crusaders' Square (Charles Bridge). Children under 10 enter free. Tickets can be purchased on site only if capacity has not been reached - before arriving without a reservation, you must contact the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to cancel the walk if there is insufficient interest; in such cases, ticket holders will be notified and refunds will be issued.
