We Are Open

We Are Open is a community festival of open cultural venues in Prague's Sedmička district (Prague 7), with its sixteenth edition taking place on 15–17 May 2026. Dozens of galleries, studios, showrooms and community spaces open their doors and offer free programming – from workshops to guided tours. Visitors can meet the people who work in Sedmička and shape the local cultural scene within Art District 7. On Friday, there will be a pop-up promenade of Sedmička businesses in front of the Trade Fair Palace. On Sunday, the National Gallery in Prague – Trade Fair Palace will offer free admission to permanent collection exhibitions and temporary exhibitions. The festival also includes a competition: visitors collect stickers from individual participants and can win art catalogues from the National Gallery Prague, DOX Centre, The Chemistry Gallery and Trafo Gallery, or a voucher to the Freshlabels shop. The completed map with stickers must be submitted to The Chemistry Gallery (Holešovická Market Hall, hall 40).
