Bethlehem or Journey to the Star is a Christmas production by Divadlo Koráb - an adaptation of the biblical story of the star announcing the coming of the Messiah. The staging is unconventional yet preserves the gravity and depth of the subject matter and individual elements of the original narrative.

The production is renewed and revised each year. It includes well-known carols that audiences can join at any time.

About the venue: Cultural and Creative Centre

The Kulturní a kreativní centrum (KKC) is a multifunctional venue housed in a historic 1937 Sokol building on Palackého street in Moravský Krumlov, right next to the town's castle. It opened in 2025 after a thorough reconstruction of the former cinema hall, costing nearly CZK 48.2 million. The main hall seats 255 and features a flexible stage with an orchestra pit and professional audiovisual equipment. It hosts theatre performances, concerts, lectures, workshops, and community events.
