kARsT Imrich Veber / Skalní tajemství

A family workshop for children aged 4-13 that combines a tour of the Býčí skála cave with creative activities right outside it. Children will explore the beauty of stone and caves, and try their hand at making casts of details from the rock face.

The workshop is led by Imrich Veber, an artist-in-residence at the Blanska City Gallery. His practice focuses on reflecting landscape through its physical and sensory experience. He studied photography and art history, and works as a teaching assistant in the Photography Studio and heads the Department of Intermedia at the Faculty of Art at Ostrava University.

Bring: cave-appropriate clothing (sturdy shoes, sweater, long trousers) and a flashlight. Some workshop results will be included in an exhibition at the Blanska City Gallery in the Salon space.
