Prague Castle opened an exhibition on January 31, 2026, in the Rožmberk Palace titled "Gifts for the President from Far and Near II," which showcases more than thirty items reflecting President Petr Pavel's year in 2025. The exhibition continues last year's successful project, which attracted exceptional public interest. The selected exhibits include both ceremonial and personal gifts that the president received from foreign dignitaries, regional representatives, and citizens — such as a steel sword from Mongolia specially crafted for President Pavel, a metal plate from the shogunate period acquired during an official visit to Japan, or an original print "Flying Man" by Petr Sísa. For the first time, the exhibition also features gifts presented to First Lady Eva Pavlová, including the Grand Cross of the Order of the Crown bestowed by Dutch King Willem-Alexander. Each object tells a story about the culture, history, and traditions of the countries and regions from which it comes. The exhibition is accessible free of charge daily until December 31, 2026; in the winter season (November–March) from 9:00 to 16:00, in the summer season (April–October) from 9:00 to 17:00.
